I'm not quite sure what is meant by "writing tools" but I'll take my best guess. I would think writing tools that I'd use would be things like word docs, grammar software, and just the internet in general since they're are so many tools at anyone's disposal. I think the most important tool that I have is being able to use google or word docs to set-up my writing. If I never had these tools I don't know how I would complete any assignments or tasks for anything in my future school/career. Its not just that though, the software that those programs use also check for grammar and make suggestions to potentially help fix any writing mistakes you might make. But enough about those tools, I think the best tool in anyone's hands is the internet. You can find information for anything that you're doing. Look up tutorials/videos that can guide you on something you need to complete, like creating a template, memo, letterhead, outline, etc... All of these tools work in tandem with each other and without any of these tools writing for me would be a much more of an endeavor. Use your tools wisely however and don't always rely on them.
Thoughts on Technical Writing

Can you be creative while being technical?
Well creativity can fit into any kind of writing and technical writing is no exception. No matter your writing style or tone you can always been more or less creative. I feel it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish when you're writing. It's more than possible to be creative with technical writing, lets say if you were making a manual or guide you can add extra steps or optional steps that allow for more creativity. Maybe like a side note for a guide about drawing a realistic tree, or perhaps one for creating a poster for a presentation that could include ideas for the reader to use. But if you are writing something that is more restrictive and linear then its much harder to be creative. I wouldn't say its possible to not be creative enough since that's quite a interesting statement. What does "enough" really mean? I guess that would be up to your own personal take on the matter but I would have to say that it depends. Either you feel like you've been creative enough or you feel like you haven't been creative enough. Just do what you think is the best that you can do.
Jobsites: How are they helpful?
The only job site that I've ever used in the past was Zip recruiter and Indeed. If I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, I would have never gotten a job without these apps. You gain so much information and access to multiple places at once that it makes it extremely easy to find somewhere and apply. You get to read info on the place, what positions are available, etc... I highly recommended any that you may pick it makes life much easier.
How can you change a bad writing habit?
I haven't had a lot of my writing really dissected enough to really know If I have any bad writing habits that I consistently make. Perhaps I tend to write like how I speak and I know from experience of me doing this that can be a bad thing. I feel it depends on what I am writing for so I'm not quite sure if it s a problem that I should change since that's up for interpretation. I would just need to change up my writing style to get rid of this bad habit.
How can I use this info in the future?
The main big things that I learned last week were how prepping and preparing can make your life 20 times easier. Making all of those templates has made my life much easier and It will in the future if I ever have to send out a memo or a letterhead to my boss. We've also gone through our personal goals that we had to set for ourself and those have really gotten me to work more just in general. Writing those goals down has given me much more motivation to pursue them.
How can the writing process be helpful?
The writing process is one of the best parts about writing something fulfilling and mean worthy. The reason its so helpful is how its able to guide you through your writing and gives you multiple opportunities to iron out what your trying to write. It gives you the tools to be more confident in your writing by giving you time to work on your text. It could help prevent plagiarism by giving the text that uses the writing process more depth then someone who would just copy it. Especially if it requires you to turn in all of the work you did on your writing process.
What new skills have I learned
I've learned a good amount of new skills in this technical writing class but I think the most prominent one that I will use in my resume is the use of Logos, Pathos, and Ethos. Obviously I've learned these before in previous English classes however this class has given me new ways to use these types of writing. I will most definitely add a mix of each inside parts of my resume.
